RE: Tire size
I thought 180 is what came on these? Anyways even if not yea the 180 is alright. I just put the pp2ct's on mine. the back is a 180/50

RE: Tire size
they come stock with a 190 the 180 will fit fine. Many people that love the corners and the track put on the 180 due to its smaller profile the bike is manuverable from side to side in and out of the corners. You really can't go wrong.

RE: Tire size
190/55 adds more contact patch on lean too.....

RE: Tire size
If the diameter of both tires (the 180 and the stock 190) is the same, then I don't think you'd have a problem. There's lots of people who do this switch, but IMO the bike might steer slower if the diameter is smaller on the 180.

RE: Tire size
go to 1000rr,net
there is a lot of talk about this generally the consensus on the 180 is negative, 190/55 is liked better, because it gives you a better contact patch here are some links from people in the know http://www.1000rr.net/vb/showthread....light=180%2F55 http://www.1000rr.net/vb/showthread....light=180%2F55 http://www.1000rr.net/vb/showthread....light=180%2F55 just a few threads, they keep going from there some good some bad, basically the 180 turns in faster but is not as stable as well as the 180 was designed for a 5.5 inch rim while the 190 a 6inch/ |
