[sm=exactly.gif] a lot of this is how they makeyou feel. few of us can truely push consistantly to the edge and ride through brand hiccups to see the ultimate limit. could it really be done on the street at any point?

Is it just me or does this CBR 1000 feel like it wants to "right" itself more than my old ZX6R did...and by right itself I mean it feels like when I'm down in a curve hard it wants to get back to vertical alot more than my ZX6R did....that bike felt like it was fine down in a curve hard and this bike feels like I'm having to fight it alot more to keep it down...what things should I change on this 1000 that would make it less of a fight to keep it down in a curve, any suggestions tires? suspension set up? what do you guys think???

I felt like I had to fight (or counter steer) the curve the whole time in my 600 F3, then I got the front tire replaced yesterday and it rides like a dream. It used to have NO lean whatsoever, now it leans with ease, counter steering isnt even on my mind anymore except for emergencies. The bike seems to almost WANT to lean now, it's ridiculous, try changing the tire, you'll see. My tire was basically threadbare (which I didn't actually notice until I sat down by my bike, at which point I almost had a heart attack [just bought it used, didnt know the tire was that bad])

Yea i agree 180's do turn in faster but wat u have to remember is the more lean angle u have the less contact patch ur gonna have when u have a 180 instead of a 190. I have a 07Cbbr1000 and ive ran a pp on the front and a 190 pirelli corsa 3 on the back and i havent had a single problem. in my opinion pirelli corsa 3's are the best tires out on the market right now.
