my 1000 has been ticking noticable worse in the past 2 months i have 4500mi on it and i ride pretty hard ( high rpm/wot on highway/ wheelies, ect.) any ideas? also hydraulic cluth fluid turns dark brown and looks nasty, how often are you guys flushing it? My computer is being ****ty and wont let me access the service manual i downloaded from this forum last year where can i find it to download it again? thanks

Keep an eye on the ticks... probably no biggie. Do they change sound when the engine is hot or cold? Depend on the weather? Are you using the same fuel? What rpms? do they go away @ higher rpm?

Clucth fluid is normal, they all turn dark. No need to flush. I did mine after 2 years when I swapped out for galfer clutch lines.
