Had one on my 99' F4. I had it on my bike until I painted it orange. I thought it was a good product. After running with it about 6 years the only thing wrong with it was the little second look tag faided (small tag like on a tee shirt) no big deal.

 

I'll let you know when and if my tank bra gets here. Apparently an all black one is harder to make. I ordered one3 weeks ago and checked on it last week. Was told the production department was waiting on a shipment of clips (the plastic ones along the edge) to come in. I didn't want the Red/Black on for my bike. Wouldn't have minded a red'black one, looks kind of neat with the black striping lining up until you notice they only do two of thethree black strips.

I wish Targa made a tank bra for the 1000RR, I love the one on my F4i and at 35 bucks for the Targa I really feel I am over paying at 104 shipped (if it'll ship) for the all back Second look.

 

I have "Bagster" tank skin. I like it a lot. (They have a collection, I think they have skins inallmost every bikes colours)

But, I think that other willprotect tank too. Is it only a cover, or is there possibility to attach tank bag to that skin?
I have that possibility.

I think he's saying that he likes Bagster's tank protector. I can't believe they'd make a sport bike tank cover/bagwith a dog pouch, but maybe they'd like the twisties too...

Tmusu do you have a picture of the top of the tank? Like looking at it from the rider's point of view?

Go to Lock heart Phillips. I bought a Second Look skin for about $90.00. It was a well built product whoever I did not like the way the color looked and the mounting required me to put velcro on the lower part of the tank. I was not real excited about that! I called Lockhart Phillips and got a black skin for $35.00 Looks great and cost less and NO velcro!
