was wondering if anyone has fitted their 06' - 07' 1000 rr with an Ohlins dampener in conjunction with the HESD?? any feed back???

 

Not a good idea...it'll be really stiff. Just one or the other. I hear of lots of track day junkies pulling off the HESD and throwing on Scotts or Ohlins.

I got a question for you, you have the same slip-on I do, and I'm waiting on the bmc air filter to come via UPS. Your PCIII, how does it feel even though you don't have the full exhaust? Just curious, I felt my '06 1000rr was fast enough, and I had not trouble keeping up the group when I needed.

 

feels orgasmic!! Although, I had the BMC, exhaust, and power commander all installed at once. I have to say, it is definitly smother than prior to the mods. I have yet to get is custom mapped, next month er so. Also awaiting the instalation of my 520 (-1 +2) possibly next week. after that, I'm perty much finished as I have just about err thing I wanted on top of me being broke. I luv the brothers though, sounds so much better than my friends full akro, the deep growl of the brothers is relentless. your gonna luv the filter though, I heard it makes a different sound, tough fer me to sey cause I had it all thrown on at once.
