Default shift linkage problem...

well i finally got my cbr 1000rr about 4 months ago. the bike is awesome smooth, usable power. handling so good when i first took it for a spin and leaned into my first corner i thought i was going to fall over it turned in so fast. crisp brakes, and awesome looks. only complaint i have is that the shift rod between the shift lever and the tranny has started to bend. i drag my bike so i do shift it hard and fast, but i've never had that problem with any of the other bikes i've had. i was wondering if anyone else has had or is having the same problem?

The linkage is long compared to what I'm used to so that could be an issue in the future. No problems with bending yet though. You must have a bionic toe.
