I am thinking ~$6500

I bought a new 06 RR for $8960 OTD, but right before that I sold a 98 R1 w/ 10k milesfor $4500. It was super clean, but sold for asking price in 4 days.

Try to keep it!!!

Good group of guys mostly in CT, but a little from all over. Very active, you won't have to worry about only 1 reply...

Also recently heard of 1000RR.net at first glance it looked pretty busy.

Try to sell for at least 7,000 bucks, It looks pretty reasonable and clean for that price. I kind of like the 04 black version than my 07 black. So, selling this for an F4i? Maybe go for an good ol 97 or 98 F3, one of the best bikes i have ever ridden in my life and put on more than 50 thousand miles. better than my 1000RR did.

Defenetly not by choice but, gotta do it because of money issues.
I just wanna buy something with cash and put low insurance on it .
you know " a toy with small expenses, plus with my new jobI commute 140 miles each day. thats 700 miles per week.
so i need something confortable and a little cheaper on gas.

by the way I was thinkin $7999 beacuse extras I put about $1200 on her and a new jacket, helmet etc..

I will defenetly [sm=boohoo.gif]cry when she leaves..

theX is right - alot of people dont know prices on bikes unless you work for a dealer or always looking for that "awesome deal"..

the aftermarket parts and stuff will hold the bikes value but dont think it will get what you put into it.. But idk how bad money issues are but if you can, dont show that weakness to potential buyers..if they ask, figure out something that doesn't show you *need* to sell the bike.. try to get the most money out of it as possible then wait till winter (when riding season is over) and buy a F4i for yourself.. then thru the winter you can put all the stunt parts onto it and get it ready for riding reason.. you can probbly pick up a nice stunter F4i for $3K or so (if you dont care about comestic damage)

but that's just what i would do.. you can always get that second job and work your @$$ off to pay the bike off and then get the other..

but what i would do is go to the dealer and see how much they would buy it from you.. then go to cycletrader.com and look around on ads for what other people (in your area) are selling there's for.. this will kind-of give you an idea of what your bike is worth (dealers will low-ball you, so take that price and probably add $1,000-2,000 to it because they are just going to resell it for profit)

hope this helps out a bit.. try to get the most for you bike, but if you want to sell it for cheap and tell me how bad you are in debt - i'm always looking for anew toy haha (just playing with you)

I bought mine for $6000. Had a few aftermarket parts like blinkers, windscreen, fender eliminator and 7000 miles. I could easily turn around and sell it for $7000. But i love this bike and i will keep it for eternity, or until i die which ever comes first.
