Lucky Bugger!! its cold here. I'm watching it rain...on top of the foot of snow we've already got, its a freakin mess! [:@] I'm glad to hear the Yoshi's are deep! I was affraid of sounding like a bumble bee... I'm use to a v-twin w/ race baffels, that thing growled!

Yeah, it got up to 48 F today, clear sunny sky and wicked50 mph winds! It was tempting, but the roads still have the remains of 14" of melting snow with 2 more inches of rain from earlier in the week. I have a "virgin" '07 CBR1000RR Repsol sitting patiently at the dealership waiting for me to take her home! I stopped by the dealer after work today, again, and installed the rear seat cowl, Shogun frame sliders and swing arm spools that came in.

Tired of the magazines bad mouthing the CBR...it's like if Honda doesn't make the most incredible bike ever each model year...even though though they are superior to the others...they bad mouth it.

Went from Montana to Northern MI last summer. 1050 miles each way...700 miles the first day when leaving and 700 back. I'm40years old andthe only problem with comfort was my knees towards the 600 mile mark tightened up. Only modification was somemore cushion in the seat. Average velocity with stops 92. Top speed...167 when I had to teach a baby Kawi 636 who was boss. Tickets (1)Biatch in a Jag with a cell....never should have wheelied by her.

Oh yeah one more...Average gas mileage (41.7mpg) over 2400 miles. Best tank 51. Worst 32.

SoCal really does rock. Have you been to the rock store????? Sunday afternoons used to ge great there. I spent my first 23 years there and now live in Crestview FL. No comparison!!!!! There isn't a mountain within 300 miles of this joint. Anyways, take the 101 thousand oaks, then take 23 west to Mullholland hwy. Start heading south and you will hit the rock store. Another great ride is Latigo canyon, but, be careful, it has some tight spots. Oh, it is between 70-80 degrees here, sorry!
