I live in washington state and I would think it would be illegal in any state just because of the red. Can someone shed some light on this for me?

 

They're illegal here in GA because of the red color. I also used to get in trouble in Alabama for blue windshield washer nozzle lights on my Blazer.

 

First off, thoes whiper lights are LAME! lol too fast and furious.

And yes, its illegal to have any RED or BLUE lights in the front of your vehicle/motorcycle. Now exceptions may include stock looking OEM angel eyes that have a blue tint is OK in some states, depending on area, The police really dont care, they wanna pull you over for PC (probable cause) which can let them see if your DUI, or warrants, ect.

True, but if you think about it like my stock HID's on my 350z were like bright white, I changed them out for 8000k for a richer blue, they wont mess with you unless you got the korean cheep POS ones. Most stock HID's are white, some of the BMW have like 10000k which burn a purple white color....
