My race rails finally came in and when i opened them i was disappointed to find they sent me the directions for the stunt cage. I now its easy installation but the fact that i have to cut a hole in each fairing to mount them honestly scares me a little lol. Can anyone give me some pointers?

 

what year is your 1k? i'm thinking about some rails for my '08...

 

I have an '07. All my friends have them for their bikes, they look great and for those who went down they helped a lot more than what sliders would have. Problem is Powers is out of business but im hearing rumors they are trying to get started up again.

 

if you are nervous and never have done it call a few dealers and take it to the cheapest. that way if they fluk it up then they replace your fairing.

 

i can't really afford 100+ bucks on that right now, im sure i can do it my self but there is always that slight chance of screwing up
