well, you took away my first answer. I've never really had anyone complain about the heat. I have complained about it myself, as I tend to get a lot of engine heat when in slow stop and go traffic. But I've never had a passenger complain. Of course, it doesnt get that hot up here in michigan..

But, about the only thing that will help her is if you get a carbon fiber exhaust. theytransfer less heat through the muffler. beyond that, i really dont think there is anything.

Another thought... If she is wearing just a shirt without a jacket of some kind, she may getting a sun burn. Also, a jacket will keep the heat off of her back. It sounds funny, but ride your bike with a pair of shorts on and see how hot it is compared to a pair of pants.

When i had my yosh slip on put on, my buddy put heat resistant tape under the paanger seat area... i would imagine this helps keep some of the heat off the passenger's tushy...

Do you still have the stock exhaust? I bought a carbon fiber Scorpion exhaust and my wife has never complained about the heat.

fyi- scorpion fits nice, is cheap (~$320) and is relatively quiet for a slip-on (which I like). Its louder than a Yosh with a street baffle but quieter than a D&D.

I am sure she will notice a difference for the better once you get your new slip-on. Let us know...

A jacket solved my wife's problem but now with the summer heat hitting in FL,the extra heat may be a problem again.
