Howdy everyone! I just traded in my 600F3 and bought a 2007 CBR 1000RR a few days ago. Just wanted to say hi, and I'm looking forward to sponging up all the information that you have provided already. It's quite a jump from going to a 98 F3 to a 07 1000RR, but I love this newer bike. Not quite sure how I feel about the damper though, I think I just have to get used to it.

So I've heard that the 08 models a oil burners, but it's just that year right? Also, a quick heads up about any common issues with the 07's would be greatly appreciated. I've never worked with a hydraulic clutch before, but I've had no trouble getting going or anything. I'm assuming it uses DOT 4 brake fluid, but a quick search should provide answers. Any input you have from personal experiences would be awesome.

So here's the ad for the bike, the fairings are supposed to be Repsol, but I know that's not the colors, so I'm assuming it's a replica, but they're nice to look at.

Yeah New Mexico has been great for riding this summer, I've been stationed here for a little over 2 years and it's awesome. Whenever you come down send me a PM and we'll go out on Highway 14 to Santa Fe, or up the Crest
