Don't get to much in a uproar yet.

I think the new 08 pictures are not authentic like the others floating around. If you go to Hondas website you will not find any pictures of the CBR1000RR.

You can see the line up of all the other new bikes, but not one of the 08 CBR1000RR.
Seems a littlefunny to me!

They might be holding off the the other thread said, till Sept. 26th.

Kawasaki hasn't released it's new ZX10 yet. Not that it would make a difference who comes out first, because no matter what the other manufacurer has done, at this point, there is nothing the other can do about it.

The one thing I did notice is that everyone feels the same way about the new 08 CBR 1000picture circulating, it's ugly and noone has said they like it or would buy one.

That just does not seem like Honda's Reputation. You will always get some who might not like a new model, but not EVERYONE.

Plus one more fact is the Black and Silver Bike has all of it's stock parts, and the Red and Black one does not.

Someone forgot to add the rear plate holder on the Red Bike. If those pictures are from a genuine Honda sitethe rear bracket would be on the bike.

Just my opinion, but something smells Fishy around this site.

So why doesn't Honda have a picture of the 08CBR1000RR on their website www.2008models.honda.com

What's the reason for that, just asking, don't know for sure, just seems a little fishy.What's the secret if they let people take pictures of them with their phones.

 

We don't work at Honda, so that question is a hard one to answer. I will say though that the only things to me that i don't like is the way the exhaust looks and how short the tail is.

1.) Who doesn't upgrade their exhaust? wtf?
2.) ok so the tail sucks but maybe it'll grow on me.
3.) if this bike is as badass as honda is saying it's going to be, then you need to take a moment to think to yourself why you buy a streetbike in the first place. Looks or performance?

 

I already posted on another thread that I like it-very much. It's very polished and well integrated. I just bought a 2007 CBR00RR (which I love) but now I'm wishing that I would have waited. I want to see it from some different angles and see what the gauges look like. It is very compact. I admit it isn't as angular as the last 1000 or the 600 but I was always a fan of the 929/954 which was a bit similar in profile. I maybe in the minority but I likes what I likes.

I REALLY don't understand the point you are trying to make here. someone took the '08 CBR1000RR and photoshopped off the bracket, added a red circle to the wheels and changed the exhaust.

 

I like the bike because it will make the valve of my 06 go up. because it will be the one of the last years of bad *** looking 1000 the classic that everyone will want since no one likes the new one so far

 

Their is a picture of the front, somewhat. Not to clear though, but you can see the mirrors on it is the new 08 bike. Maybe they are real pictures. Everyone will buy one regardless. When they see the numbers.

 

I like the 08! So far...
