Hey everyone i am the proud new owner of a red and black 08 1000rr. I put 320 miles on it this weekend. My girlfriend has to pretty much drag me off the bike. I have had this bike as a background on my phone since pictures came out and hoping to save the money and find a deal and buy one and a couple weeks ago I found it . But enough of the boring stuff I am looking at putting some accessories on the bike to make it a little better looking and more personal. I want to get a black windshield maybe with a little more coverage, some cut frame sliders, tail tidy, maybe some grips, tank pad, and exhaust. And with help of this forum i found the tail tidy (bike litez), exhaust (tailor made), but for the rest i have just started looking and was hoping for some help from you guys of a good place to buy these items for good prices and helps with brands to. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I just bought some stuff from bayside performance. K&N race filter, Bazzaz z-bomb, and Speigler red braided brake lines and red caliper bolt kit. My order was placed on monday and I was given a 6-10 day wait. In the states they ship out of Seattle and in Canada its Vancouver. When they confirmed they didn't list anything as backordered. So it is wait and see. I'll let you know if they meet their shipping deadline.

 

R&G makes the tail tidy, TM is good stuff. My other suggestions; windscreen- Zero Gravity, cut sliders-Woodcraft, grips-Spider, tank pad-OEM on the crotch area w/ Stompgrip on the sides.
