RE: MY RIDE HAS BEEN PIMPED!!
with that last comment, im a little weary about ordering the rim strips for my bike. i work in the car audio industry and see "tape stretching" everyday. the thing is, with electrical tape and such, when you stretch it like to wrap up some wires or loom, over time it will pull back and leave a sticky residue that is just a pain in the *** when you have to go back and fix some other shops work. we see it all the time. we use 3M super 33 which is a better grade tape, but easier to work with. i just wonder if the rimstrips will pull back and look like poopie after a while.
other than that though, you have a really nice looking machine

Rim tape is different then electircal tape or anything like that. It's actually vinyl like you stick on the outside of the car. Think pinstriping. It's perfectly to stretch and get some tension on it.
By the way, to remove the residue you are talking about, pick up some denatured alcohol. It will take any glue or tape residue off. I did car audio for about 10 years. I've built demo vehicles for MMATS, Image Dynamics and a few other companies. Where do you work at?

i dont know if you are thinking of putting some sliders on that protrude more from the bike, but there are some other no cut designs that stick out farther. i paid about the same for my lightning products sliders. they bolt farther back, off the engine mount bolt. they come out a lot farther. it also comes with the longer bolts,
