My 2008's first mods, what do you think?

Just installed puig racing windscreen and fender eliminator from Bikelitez. I know some people aren't to high on the looks, but I think that the screen and fender make a big difference (liked it before anyways). Waiting for akrapovic to come out with a slip on for it and I will be all set.

They are built into the undertray. You can see them in these:

I think that the new signals are brighter than stock and the under tail was pretty easy to install, only have to drill two holes.

Looks Great! ... Just saw one for the first time in person today and got to sit on her.

Let me just say, I wasn't a fan of the new look but I can see it growing on me fast. She feels almost as light as my 600RR7 and with her new features, thats just one potent machine!!!!

jyoungl7: The bike looks great with the new windscreen and undertail kit. It's amazing how the Bikelitez fender eliminator really cleans up the lines of the bike. You guys have convinced me. I'm ordering the Bikelitez kit too!

Looks gorgeous, I'd take those yellow reflectors off of the front tire though.

nice mod, i'm still not a "huge" fan on the 08's yet (gonna take some time for me) but it the mod make it look more streetfighter-ish, which is awesome man. I really like it :D

Nice job mate.

I have the Black european issue bike but really wanted the black and silver bike you have but its not available in the UK. I like the indicators but we cant get away with those here. I fitted the R&G tail tidy and it smartens up the arse end big time. I am waiting MRA to get their double bubble out which should be any day now which one did you fit and have you noticed much improvement?

Cheers

Gazza

RE: My 2008's first mods, what do you think?

The windshield does make it more comfortable, I got myself a puig race screen. One word of caution, be very careful installing the windscreen, I cracked my upper fairing just installing it. I really felt like an idiot until I went to my local dealer and he told me they did the same thing to another 08 just putting on the stock shield out of the box!! I guess it is just a very weak part of the bike, but that is the price of light weight. I think that if you loosen/remove the mirrors before handon the bike that should make the install much safer.
