RE: MY 2006-07 CBR1000RR Recall
There was a post on here about the recall about 2 or 3 months ago. I had my tank replaced back in Late September, which was about a month or sobefore I officially got a recall. I recently had to go back to the Honda dealer because, they wanted to inspect the replacement tank. They told me that becausethe tank was replaced before the recall ever came out, they wanted to make sure thatthereplacement tankalso wasn't a bad unit. Luckilyit wasn't. Theytold me that there are paint markson theback of the tanks toact as a color code. The new tanks havedifferent color paint marks on them. So, all they had to do was take the tank cover off and look at the marks.
