Kickstand mod?
WHY????? Just answer that question with an explanation. WHY would you ever want to mod your kickstand so you can put the bike in gear with it down. What purpose would that serve?

DEEEE DE DEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Yes its very easy to attempt to ride off with your kickstand down. I work at a shop I'll get on a bike and walk backwards out of my bay and someone will start talking to me while I'm on the bike holding it up off the kickstand. A few minutes later, I'll crank it up and put it into 1st about to go on a test ride. The bike stalls and I feel like an idiot, but without that switch to kill the engine when the kickstand is down, its possible to ride off. You wouldn't get too far, of course since the first time you tried to turn left at all, you'd be on your side before you knew it. To answer your question, you would have to jump the wires together to make the bike think that the kickstand is still down. Or you could unbolt it from the back of the kickstand and leave it tucked away some where. But I highly recommend doing this. I have seen two people riding modified bikes (both streetfighters) that after filling up at a gas station they forgot to put their kickstand up and as soon as the turned out of the parking lot they were on their sides. Very dip****-like.
Yeah, the bike will work fine. Like has been mentioned, it's a safty switch.
No need to cross wires, just unplug it.
The HRC and KYLE Ecu's disable it anyway... and with those you need to manualy disable the clutch switch. (Another safty feature)
