Hey guys, it`s been a while, but I recently bought an 06 1000rr! Was away in South America for four months and missed motorcycles so much I had to get one as soon as I got back. Bought one in the US and brought it back to Canada and saved a lot of money.

Only have been out for a couple of rides but so far there is a huge difference between my 954 and this. A lot more power, more solid suspension and brakes, more aggressive driving position, smoother engine, I love it. Although I loved my 954, I can tell this is a far superior bike and I can`t wait to get out on it more. Now only if it didn`t need 91 octane...

It`s fully stock right now, so I think I`ll focus on mods once our short riding season is over, just want to get out there for now. Will post up once I get into the mod mindset. Cheers.[/align]

I recently traded in my 929 for an 06 I almost bought an 08, it would have been 2K more but then I would have modded it and spent more $$$. The 06 is an awsome performing machine, I agree with you in all aspects, I have a scorpion pipe I put on mine and it sounds great. If your looking for a pipe that sounds good and looks unique, that comes at a good price with a lifetime guarentee check them on you'll love it.

 

Haha, gratz!!! I recently got my 07 (same as 06) and love it!! Ialso had a 954rr. That was a great bike. But liking this one better in just about every way!

I think I lasted a week before I couldnt stand not having any mods. lol.

 

Thought I could hold out for mods, but I've got a windshield in the mail as we speak. Don't think it will end there...
