ORIGINAL: vjhils

Once I get the damper and brakes dialed in, I should be all good, I might get a smaller front sprocket but that will down the road.

Honest input from a Honda fan (me), the Kawasaki ZX-10 is awesome, the CBR 1000rr is awesome too, however right off the sales floor the CBR seems to ride better without havingt to make any mods. The speedo on 2007 CBR 1000rr looks out dated compared to the my 2006 ZX-10, that gauge is absolutly awesome.

I dont think my speedo looks out dated at all,but then again the numbers are moving up so fast it's all a blurr.

The ZX10 speedo does look good.
The only thing is it's hard to read depending on the lightiing outside.
Trust me, you will find out soon enough.
Have fun on your new ride.

The speedo (I hear is different from the 05'), I have not had any problems, but only riddenit three times, it looks sick at night though....

This bike is very mean, you rev the engine and it growls back at you like it's pissed off....Scary.....The way I like it!

Brakes have way too much play in them and need something I'm not sure, the Ohlins stabilizer is a joke, I gonna get another GPR. First gear......What the F****K, who needs to go 90 in first; need to go -1 on the front sprocket and +1 on the rear.
After these mods the bike should be sweet, oh yeah....Dunlaps gotta go to!!

Summary as of today Wednesday November 14th 2007, the ZX-10 off the floor doesn't compare to Honda but with a few tweaks it just might have a fighting chance!!!

Gee thats funny. My 04 CBR1000RR goes 85 in first so I don't see why thats a problem.
They are geared for track use not street use.
