I just seen a set on EBAY for 400 dollars. Only thing you have to look out with aftermarket body work is how well they match up. That body work could have huge gaps or be to tight. Or plain just fit like ***. Also try Sharkskinz too. I hope I helped a little bit.

When some molds are made. Some companies think of racing. It does not really have to fit perfect since you are racing and may go down. Also it may not mount up right to the holes you have. You may have to buy the 1/4 turn fasteners. I was going to put a race tail on my bike but when i saw another bike with one on it looked like ***. Didnt mount up right was flimsy. So be careful on what you look for and pay for. Take care man

I think this is a case of you get what you pay for. If you buy cheap, you get cheap. There are some very, very high quality aftermarket fairing: from plain wet laid up glass fibre to vacuum baked carbon fibre.
Do a little home work and get feed-back from others that are satisfide with their aftermarket fairings. Don't bother inquiring about feed-back from those with any/all aftermarket fairings - you don't care about the crap stories - you only are interested in the success stories.
I've had excellent results from QB, Yoyodyne, Evolution Composites, Carpimoto & OPP. Note: these were all c/f stuff.
It is true you'll have to get fasteners, etc. You'd probably also want to have it painted; so you need to factor these costs in.
Good luck.
Cheers

I'm not sure how bodywork is on bikes, but I know the horrors of it far too well for cars. 9 times out of 10, bodykits for cars would never fit right and would require some degree of modification to get to fit right. Even then, it was NEVER OEM quality fit and finish. Only the REALLY expensive kits worked right, but even then, some of them required a bit to be shaved off.
I would advise NOT to get a different body (since it really won't change the apperance THAT drastically), and just get a different paint scheme. You'll retain the OEM fit and finish of the plastics already on it, but will look totally custom with a high-quality custom paint job. (plus you can use the money you saved on the purchase of the new body to put towards a good paint job, which can get pretty pricey) Even if you have a freaking awesome body, it'll look like crap unless you get it sprayed right. Just my two cents though.
