Default I Just Posted This on General Tech...But Help Out If You Can
I don't know if it's been covered here...if so, feel free to link any prior forum activity on the subject. I have a 2004 1000RR and want to remove the passenger rear sets. But part of the rightside bracket is a tapped mount for the top heat shield bolt. Anybody know if there's a pre-fab aftermarket mount you can buy, or am I just looking at custom machining?

you need to fab something. i just left mine off completely and it looks nice with the new pipe showing.

riding with shorts or denim, ibarely feel a little more heat but no burn. being off, it just shows the heat shield.
