13brsxsrr Over 5K AND 50% throttle the second set of injectors kick in. You can cruise over 5K and still get good fuel economy just be easy on the throttle. Warmer weather will also give better gas mileage. California models should get the best economy.

I didn't know about the 50% throttle thing. But I do now!

 

I have around 4000 and get about 120-130 miles per tank...

 

Over 10,000 miles and getting 120 to fuel light... city. I've gotten 50 MPG on long freeway rides.

 

i got 45.33 mpg with 400 miles on the clock... so i am just breaking her in......65% highway (to get to/from the twisties) 35% twisties....not much over 6000rpm though

 

Over 800 miles on the bike and just got 142 miles on it yesterday before light. I always ride medium hardwith wheelies everyday so I am pleased with the direction that the gas mileage is going on my bike. Seemed like it has been consistantly getting better. The week is starting so I will ride really hard and see what comes of this tank.

my bike is on 150 mile now and I got 130 miles until the light come on, it is with my first ever tank , all the time accel/decel on the highway for break in (btw 3500-7500 rpm).

 

i've got about 10,600 and i get an average of 155 miles per tank before the light comes on. i think the best i ever got so far was when i moves. i got 168 before the light came on.

 

I got 128 before the light.
