JUST WONDERING HOW MANY MILES I CAN EXPECT TO GET ON MY STOCK REAR TIRE? 061KRR I THINK I'S A BATELAX (IM SURE THAT'S SPELLED WRONG)[&:]

 

Depending on inflation pressure and riding style , you can get anywhere from 3000 to 10,000 or more miles.

 

I have almost 7K on my '05 Stock. Looks great.

 

I'm looking at around 4k for my rear with no burn outs. Maybe a little further on the front but I'm going to change them both and the same time.

 

MY BATTLEAXE ONLY DID 1700 MILES BEFORE IT DIED. NOT THAT KEEN ON BRIDGESTONES SO I OPTED FOR DIABLOS FAR BETTER. DID A TRACK DAY AND KEPT ON LOSING FEEL ON THE FRONT NOT NICE.

 

I got 5K out of my stock Bridgestones. No burnouts.

 

good deal... just was wondering i had heard like 3500 was all. it's my 1st bike im sure i'll be taking it easy especially at 1st.

 

it just all depends on riding style
one track day can destroy a new set
or you can wear the center square and still have the mold beads on the sides

i have almost 3K on mine and they are wore almost to the rim
and are still going good
probably going to change them after the next track day to pilot powers

 

I got right at 4K on the diablo corsa rear before I had no tread on the center. Loved that tire, though. I'll be going with a dual compound tire after the dunlop wears out.

 

I put 7000 on my 06 1K this year. One of the last times I was out my buddy says 'looks like you're wearing out the rear.' And I looked and the center was pretty well worn. I think they were fine for regular riding up through 5k miles, then I learned wheelies and I think that polished the rear off...
