dont ride it. if you are asking this question then i am guessing that you dont know about bikes or you would already know how you would do this. how do i know you are new? simple...you are only worried about going faster than another bike.
do yourself a favor and learn how to ride it properly before you try to outrun someone else. crashing is nooooo fun. it hurts like a **** and costs tone of money.

Total squid... i my 07 is fast enough for me... every bike 1000cc and up are governed at the same speed. why do you need to go faster then 180mph if your on the streets? ya we all do it sooner or later, but its a huge risk out there... i myself enjoy track days, because its fast legal fun.

you can machine the block, throw in a new cam shaft kit, injectors, PCIII, NOS, or a turbo kit - but you will just be making that bike a coffin.
busa is 1300cc
CBR1krr is 1000cc (actually it'a like 998 if i remember right)
either way they are both <11 sec bikes - you dont need to outrun your friend, bikers dont do that sh*t - squids do.
I really hope you are safe out there - it doesn't matter how good you at riding at fast speeds, all it takes is one driver to pull out infront of you AND it hurts. Have fun with your 1krr, if it's not enough power - get a busa (no one is stopping you).
good luck. One more thing, a friend of mine died on a busa going 198mph on the highway when a bird went right thru his visor and lost control of the bike.

This. if you're under 200 lbs a 600 is SUPER fast for anyone..
i dont think peope realize that modern sportbikes are the equivelent of supercars in terms of performance, at a fraction of the price.
a liter bike is insane fast. ride it down a hill if you need to go fast
