Help!! 07 1KR Won't Start
Hey Guys. I just replaced some fairings on my 07 1000rr. I also replaced my clutch cover. Now my bike won't start! It will simply crank the starter, but the engine won't fire. I tried toggling the engine kill switch back and forth, as well as cycling the key back and forth a few times, but to no avail.
Any ideas??

Tough to say, could be several things. Did did the bike go down? If so, check the bank angle sensor. During your fairing replacement did you lift the tank andunplug the fuel pump? Did you reconnect the crankshaft position sensor on the clutch cover? Is the MIL blinking? Is the battery weak? How long has it been since you've ridden the bike?

RE: Help!! 07 1KR Won't Start
I did replace the front fairing, but i thought i replaced everything the way i took it off. How does the bank angle sensor need to be mounted? I assume that it is the sensor that attaches with 2 nuts, in between the headlights?
Also, i didn't unplug anything when i replaced the clutch cover, so I'm fairly sure that it is in good shape.
I've ridden the bike since i dropped it. It's only been 2 days since i last rode it, and my battery is good. I did not remove or lift the fuel tank, nor did i unplug the fuel pump.
I guess i'll look at the bank angle sensor again. Is there a reset procedure for the sensor, or does will it simply work once it is positioned correctly?
Thanks for the help.

It sounds like you've correctly identified the bank angle sensor, make sure the rounded part is facing downward. I don't know of any reset procedure, I think you just have to make sure it's mounted right and plugged in. When you turn the key to "on", do you hear thefuel pumpturn on fora second?
