That's Honda engineering for ya -- no PCIII. On my Suzuki's I had to install PCII because with the slip on or full system they ran so darn rich and idled badly. The Honda FI responded fantastically to the slip on. Has a nice lope to it at idle. I need to change the pic on my page -- the current one still has the 'sail' on the rear.

So to this day you have never mapped the bike and have no probs with idle performance?

Exactly -- I did disable the flapper but no PCIII or Yosh box or anything. The FI handled the change flawlessly. One thing I do suggest for any FI bike is to keep the throttle cable slack at a minimum -- that will take the jerkiness out when shifting.

Oh ya -- they make them for F4i -- 2Bros for F4i. They got full systems also.

is that the original heat shield or did you mod something to guard against the heat?

Original heat shield repainted black -- also kept the doodads on the side cause I think they look cool.

You don't have any problems with the heat melting off the paint?

Negative -- the original metal heat shield is under that piece. The piece I painted and polished was the brown-speckly piece that wrapped around the stock exhaust. Had to make some strategic cuts to get it to fit around the new can. Also repainted the end cap on the can because the anodizing turned a pinkish color after all the heat/cool cycles -- you don't wanna work with a bunch of Hardley riders with a pink exhaust cap[8D]
