Question have cbr600f2 now, but looking at 2011 cbr1000rr- question

ok guys, i have lived with my 1993 cbr600f2 since i bought it new in 93. I am looking at a new cbr1000rr and realized the the 1000 comes with a slipper clutch. What kind of difference am i going to see/feel while riding. course i read up on the slippers but experiencing is different. I suppose when I downshift a couple gears the engine wont sound like its going to jump out of the frame etc. lol... anyway, should I be at all spooked going to a slipper clutch setup..... thanks for input

slipper clutches don't have any effect if riding within the rev range, normally. They are used for racing and "spirited" road work and basically only come in when the revs get too high for the gear you're in or if the rear end tries to step out in a corner, they limit the slip on the back tyre.
A good addition to road bikes, nothing to worry about
Enjoy !
