I was about to win this but then i was too slow in the bidding process..

That seemed like a pretty good price. But don't cheap out on gear. You don't have to get the best, but get the best you can afford.
The best suits I've seen are Dainese. They're pricy though, but probably well worth it. I'd like to get one of their one piece suits later down the road...when I decide to stop being a fat ***!

Saw a guy at a recent track day who went down, don't know what speed but it was at the end of a straight,but he had on a 1 piece MotoGP kangaroo leather suit and the stitchings let go on the leg and it got tore all to hell. He got some rash on his leg too, as I understand it.

don't worry, it's summer anyways, LOL. especially, with the heatwaves were getting, there's no way their going to be able towear that until fall/winter

i wear my full leathers in the san antonio heat because i have seen what happens when jeans hit asphault

Likewise. I wear full 1 piece about anytime I ride. Spent most of the day on the Xerox with a full Spidi suit. Temp was high 80's today, but the perferations in the suit breathes very well.
