Default GOOD no cut frame slides ??061KRR

Any advise on "no-cut" frame slides for a 06 1000 RR ?? Have seen several posts about one brand that bends into a water housing, and don't want that, but wondring if there were any good alternatives ?? Tried to search the forum w/no luck. Wouldn't really mind the cutting so much, but the bolt is so close to the edge of the fairing, it seems a shame.

I installed the "Shogun" brand no cuts. Easy install, about 15 minutes for all six (bars and swing arm also)

i have tested the Shoguns twice ... once on each side and they've worked very well for me

you could also look @ Motovation and LightTech though

Arn't those the ones i've been hearing about bending into the water housing, or w/ever its called, on the left side of the bike ? The motovation site says they don't have the 06 model available yet, only 04-05. Was gonna try n call to see if it just hadn't been updated, but no # available on the site.

Looks as though the Motovation no-cut sliders are available for the 06 1KRR.

http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore...?idproduct=184

They say that the sliders aren't available until the middle of May, but I'm thinking that May has come and gone already...

Hope that helps.

I had seen that before. Not sure what the point is if your takin a chance on damaging the engine ?? Was gonna go w/cut sliders, but the motovations look like a really nice design. Lil pricey, but way cheaper than plastics. Thanks for the info tho !
