I bought a piece of crap from ebay thinkin it was a good idea because it mounted on the hugger
apparently that piece of crap is not only a hinge that you can find at your local home depot
but its illegal in the state I live. Any Ideas of what I can do or buy?

 

what state do you live in? I honestly don't ride with my license plate on out here in cali. If I do get pulled over I just tell them I am waiting on a custom undertail I have ordered. 9 times out of 10 they will let you go and if they dont. Keep the stock plate holder and just bolt it on and go to you local authorities and show them so they can sign off your ticket. Thats all. Also on motographicdesign.com they have some cool under tails with plate brackets. I hope I helped a tad
