Default F1 red light in my bike

hi guys,

last month while i was driving i had a strange red light while i was driving my bike, its a 1000rr model 2007 , i bought it as a second hand so i dnt have the manual.
when i had that light i turned my bike off waited for few minutes then turned it ond it wrked out fine. today same thing happened my fuel light turned on so i went to the gas station and put some fuel in it then i reset the km whike i was driving then the red f1 light turned on again i was freaked out i turned off my bike for few minutes then turned it on and it worked just fine and that stupid light did not appear again so shall i send my bike to the honda showroom?
or its nothing important?
i dnt feel anythng strange with my bike its still the same running smellling sounding the same so what do u think?

Isn't that "FI" indicating a fuel injector problem? As a general rule, red lights on the panel mean "stop riding."

It would be a good idea to go ahead and take it to the dealer, since you don't have the manual......... i just looked it up and it says you should take it in. I also recommand getting a hold of the owners manual and maintence manual if your mechanically inclind. You can save a whole lot of money on some of the simple thing. I got them both and i rarely take mine in, but hey i work on $40 million dollar jets for a living.
