I know the Plastidip thing has been talked about a lot, but here is my 08, plastidipped. I'm happy with the look. I did it because here in Yuma, there are rocks everywhere so I wanted to protect my OEM fairings somewhat...well that an I was tired of the yellow color and the replica Repsol stuff. Eithere way, here it is. Flat black with gloss decals on the body. Tank is gloss with flat decal. The gloss rearsets and tank prevent the flat from being to overwhelming imo.

You might put some kind of rim-tape on the wheels to give you some profile-visibility,
at night. They make some darker colors, so it won't blow the blacked-out look.

That's not meant as a real criticism, more a safety enhancement.

Glad you like it. I took off all the fairings to ensure they were sprayed well, ordered gloss deals to go on the plastic up and taped off and painted the tank. Overall it came out good. As far as visibility goes, I was thinking it was going to need something. The subdued color is harder to see, especially here in Yuma during snowbird season.

 

I think it looks awsome. my boyfriend digs the look more than I. He says that is how one true bike should look like.

I am with Ern on that, Has to have that something to make it more visible.

My bike is gonna come too with flat and gloss black. But desided on few other color stripes on it. And having ideas to get that famous bandit streetfighter helmet with huge white grin on it. That would def give that edge lmao.
