Default Does California bikes have less HP ?

Whats up guys , I here alot of guys who have cbr1000s talk about pulling wheelies with just throttle in second and maybe third. Now I can do it easy in first but second barely comes up . My buddy let me ride his GSXR1000 and I can pull a wheelie in second and in third. But I recently met this guy who came from Alabama Who had an sv 1000s , which was alot faster than my other friends sv 1000s same bike, same year, no mods but differant states! So is there a big hp differance , and what can i take off my bike to get the hp back. ( this is what mods i have , flapper mod , k and N filter , Laser pipe , 1 down in the front sprocket)

Well, most CA models have a cat converter up their pipe. So it stands to reason they will be a little down on power. If you have a full exhaust that should have cleared that problem up. You say pipe, so maybe just a slip on? I dont think a slip on will rid the emissions garbage on it. I cant beleive even with -1 that it wont wheelie in 2nd just on the gas. My 900 will do that with just -1, full exhaust, K&N. Not a problem. I'm not sure what the "flapper mod" is, so I cant tell you how that will affect HP. It will be down on power stock, CA vs other states, but still, it shouldnt be an issue.

cbr rage 1000rr,
if you have changed anything on the exhaust from what i can read on this forum you will need to install a power commander so you can adjust the fuel air mixture on your bike. i had a 03 600rr done the full exhaust 1 down front 2 up back power commander and that came alive. just havent had the 1000rr long enough to do the mods but really i live in tennessee and have no problem with whillies in first or second may this will help.
