I cant find the bike I want to get this week. Does anyone know of a dealer that has an 08 1000rr in the black? im in northern ohio so anywhere within 400 miles.

Not gonna happen....I did see an '09 in black. Only difference was the foot pegs and maybe a couple of other small things.

 

i can get you an 09... and just PC the parts you want black ..lol .. easier.. cheaper ..

 

easier than finding an impossible to find bike, but not easy. I've read where the passenger peg removal is a real pain.

What parts need to be coated to mimic the LE? Mine's not all black, but I thought black pegs and rearsets would look good.

mda0303 . . Sure do man! . . I live in Greeneville, TN not sure how close that is to you, but they have one that I passed on for the silver/black paint scheme. they've had it awhile too, probably get a great deal on it!

 

thats an 8 hour drive but im thinking it would be worth it. if they give me the same deal that my local dealership gave me on a red/silver im going to do it. thanks for the heads up man. anyone else seen one?
