Hey fellas have a couple of question that I hope you guys can answer..I'm a little unclear about the specifics..thanks

a) What exactly does a factory warranty entail on a new bike?

b) Upon my 600 mile break in period, do I need to take the bike back to the same dealer I bought it from to continue the warranty ? or can I take it to a different mechanic to do this work and let him sign the manual section ?

Federal law states you can have your maintance work done at independant repair facilitys but you must have it done by the books 10000000% and keep VERY GOOD detailed receipts if anything happens because they will ask and if you dont have they wont pay for anything related and you wont have a leg to stand on. You can even do it yourself but you must keep records for buying oil, filters, lubes and any other parts required.
