$259!

What has been your experience with Corbin seats in the past? Are they worth the money?

Id like to purchase the front seat soon.

I agree. I took a 07 600rr out for a test drive before I bought my 08 1000rr and this seat is much better than the 600rr. Im still thinking of getting the Corbin though. I like to drive a lot and I noticed after driving around for a while my butt gets kind of sore.

You bought one already? They just came out a few weeks ago didnt they? I looked on their website when I first bought my 08 in June and they werent out yet.

Is it worth the $269?

Default Corbin seats for 08-09's have been out for a while

i bought mine in the the first part of may. and i received it about 2 1/2 weeks later.they are stiff as all hell at first but it does get better with some saddle time. i noticed the difference in about 200 miles that it was breaking in. just beware that you will need to buy new mounting bolts. The stock bolts are to small and you may have to do some adjusting to the mounts on the seat its self to make the holes line up right. it took me like 20 mins to install mine with all the adjustments.
I think it was worth it if you do any kind of distance on your bike. I know that when I first got my 08 i could only go for like 60 miles and that was it because it felt like i was getting kicked me in the azz and thighs. my bother was laughing at me when i got off my bike all bow legged, i have to admit that i was laughing to.

IMO, for $269, the thing should fit perfectly and the bolts should be supplied if the stock ones won't work.

thats what i was thinking but i guess thats part of the reason way they are less then the Honda energy seat($299) and Sargent doesn't even offer a seat for the 08-09 1krr that i can find on their site.

That brings up a good point. Does anyone have an idea how this compares to the Honda energy seat?
