Check Engine Light
is there any way to get that light to go out and stay out? I put a full system exhaust on and i dont need that stock exhaust port thing under the seat at all but when i take it out the check engine light stays illuminated.. are there any fixes for this ?

Re install and reconnect your servo motor. The ecu is looking for it. Just remove the cable.
Or take an ohm meter and mearure the resistance of the servo motor and replace it with an equal valued resistor. |

*rant*... sorry
I think I could take an 8oz ****.... I don't understand the effectiveness of cutting Sprung weight. The human body's weight fluctuates so much during the day. i.e. I weigh 220 in the morning and 230 at night. Only large amounts of sprung weight that is immobile on the bike (Unsprung weight, and rotating mass is a totally different story I wont go into.), excessive exhaust weight for example, is the only sprung weight I could see getting rid of from a performance standpoint. If people worried as much about their body weight as their bike's weight they might drop a few pounds so their bike doesn't have to work so hard... |
Thrasher had it right. Same thing happened to a fellow rider i hang out with.
