changing my 2007 fireblade to a streetfighter
Greetings all,
regarding my previous thread about the best sprocket size for wheelie i did like what ive been told and hell ya +2 on the rear -1 on the front it changed my bike's life now i can easily do wheelie.
now i got another question i need to changem y bike and make it a streetfighter
i got a 2007 fireblade so my question is that if i take out the front kit with the lights and everythng with my speed meter and all will my bike runs normally do i have to make some modification for the electricity well as u know fireblade got HSS so taking out the meters will it affect it.
10xs for all

Im not sure how the HSS is operated. We don't have to deal with it over here in the states. Im not sure if the speedometer is in anyway connected to that. I know you can buy a non HSS ECU, and then the HSS is bypassed. Im not sure if anything else gets changed along with the ECU though.
Having said that, I think you still need the gauge cluster to run the bike, but not 100 percent sure on that.
Also, you will need to mount the Bank Angle Sensor somewhere since it is mounted to the rear of the headlights. You can bypass it by running a jumper wire to the outer two leads, but I think I would mount it somewhere so it still functions.
If I were you, I keep the fairing stay so the gauge has a place to sit, it will also allow you to keep your mirrors, have a place to mount a headlight, and also may be a place to mount your Bank Angle Sensor.
