I understand the differences between both bikes, but do any of these changes actually matter if your using the RR5 just for the road, to g0 to work and back etc, no tracks, no dyno's or power commanders etc.... just plain and simply riding in the hussle and bussle or real life (ie like 99% of us actually use the bikes for).

i'd say it probably boils down to aesthetics/ergos, since the performance margins aren't of consideration.
