What mod kits are out there to get a little more horsepower out of my 04 CBR1000? I have been racing the '05 GSXR1000, and it is give and take. These bikes are supposed to have so much more horsepower, what do we have to level the playing field?

You need to eliminate the timing retard... Im not sure on the 1k's but I heard that the 6rr was OFF THE F*CKIN HOOK!!! with it eliminated, full exhaust, and PC... so im sure it would be the same thing...

My 6rr as I was told by honda, has the timing retard on the cams, and I have to send them in to eliminate them...

I am with you on that, been riding with a 03 GSXR 1000, 05 GSXR 1000, Busa, ZX9, and a ZX 12. In the curves none of them can keep up. On a straightaway running over 100mph, the GSXR 1000s seem to pull away easy. I know all the bikes are real close but at about 185mph I am close to redlining, the GSXRs seem to be steadily gaining speed.

I`m presuming our models would be limited the same but here, theres a rev limiter in top of 1000rpm below redline (10500ish) which means mine wont reach red line for a full top speed run does anyone know how to remove this? Not that 182 isn`t fast enough!!!
