Has anyone noticed that the nice CBR emblem thats on the 08 model is gone and been replaced by a cheap *** decal..What do you think?..Don't tell me Honda engineers thought it would be a great weight savings to defer to that cheap decal..

 

Actually that emblem is only on certain color models even on the 2008's... My red 08 doesnt have the emblem. just the decal and I prefer that. Less crap for a cleaning cloth to catch on.

 

Black/Silver has the emblem, and I like it. Looks classy, IMO.

 

Yeah your right, must be only plain colors with no graphics/decals whatever..I'm starting to like the Red too because it has some graphics on it...The others just look too plain to me..I just thought it was a cost cutting thing..

 

What decal are you guys talking about? Where is it located? I didnt know anything about this.

 

its on the side fairings.. mine is a decal also (black/red)

 

Decal on my 2008 Black LE not the plastic stick out thinggie.

no clue why some had it and some didn't though, but looking at them on the showroom I didnt like the emblem.
