Im picking up a brand new 2008 cbr 1000 next month and I was wondering what the best looking fender eliminator kit out there was. I don't want a hanging licence plate I want one so that mounts up underneath.

RG tail tidy looks the best to me if you wanna keep your stock turn signals. If you're going to replace the signals there's almost infinite possible combinations. Also consider where your plate is located. I received a ticket last year cause my plate was too far from the back of my bike, so I would read up on your state laws so you don't get slapped with a $120(Indiana) fine.

I've been looking for a good solution for my 08 but haven't made up my mind yet.

However be careful what you buy since most of the cheaper undertails require you to cut off the factory fender or cut the inside of the tail.

I have the Bikelitez and am totally happy. I am not concerned on the tag placement, but they have two different kits. check them out.. they are very well made hand formed fiberglass. Mine is bout a quarter inch thick. Heres a pic, mind the tape I was sealing it up with some silicone.
