Default Autozone Paint and some pretty pedals :)

Well. I first appologize for the crummy pictures but my mage camera is out of juice and had to use my phone.

Today i was bored beyond anything and decided to get some ideas of colors on my bike. Soooo...I went to autozone. Bought some gold paint and some clear coat and went to town.

I know its going to get beat up. But I wanted to know how it would look. I put plenty of layers on paint and clear on it so it should last me at least a week haha.

and yes. i did the other side to match it No i did not paint the shifter. left that alone. just the right side foot pedal and the slotted protector.

So, whatcha think?

Looks pretty sharp. I'm sure it beats a $600 set of rearsets. I just wonder how long that paint will last. Seems like you'd need to powder coat to avoid chips.

Oh yea. im 80% sure it'll et eaten up by two weeks. More of a test paint than anything.

I think i might try Takata green next haha

(if you dont know what takata green is:look at the rim color )

cool, i used the same thing on my 954 but i went with red aniodized paint and a clear coat.

it did however last a month or so before i had to touch it up....

but that was just street rideing without rideing boots...

thats a good way to check and see what color you like best before throwing down the money for powdercoating. nice.
