Seeing as how we should all be wearing earplugs when we go out riding...noise shouldn't be that big of a factor...IMHO.

I wear an Arai RX7. Inside feels like it was custom molded to my head. I would love to have bought one of the Shoei's X-11's...but the interior just feels cheap after putting on an RX7. I know the X-11's are excellent helmet's and very well made and I hear they are very quiet. But once you put on an Arai RX7...the interior just feels like a million buckaroos.

 

i wear AGV but from my friends that have both, the arai gets more thumbs up.

 

ive had both but my Shark RSR2 is better than both ive had... personal choice i guess?

 

i like my shoei but me and the people I ride with run chatter boxs so someone is talking s--t all the time!

 

I like the Shark RSR2!! Very nice lid...I wish I could fit in one but my head just won't do it.

 

I like ARIA But you need to get the one that FITS your head

 

Arai hands down. i had an x-8 which my first street helmet many years ago, and it was the top of the line then. a few yeas later i bought an arai quantum f, the inside of the arai never broke down the way the shoie did. i now haverx7 corsair. love the way the araifits and last.

 

I have a Shoei X-11 love it,
Had an HJC waste of $s.
Never had an Arai but have heard good things about it, is expensivebut your head is worth it.

 

ive owned both and personally i like shoei better. reason being its a lot easier to put the shield on vs. the arai and when i replaced the side mounts on the arai it wasnt easy. with the shoei everything just snaps in a lot easier. the shoei is more quiet as well and fits better for me.
