Any other short 1000 riders?
 

So ive ridden on 600s for years and my new setup is an 07 GSXR 600 and an 07 CBR 1000......i just bought the cbr and havent ridden it yet but will soon and im only 5'7 so its not the most comfortable position but i can handle it...ANY tips on riding the 1000 class for the first time? thanks everyone

im only 1 inch taller and rode a ninja 600 I just purchased a honda 1k .. its a bit taller but not much difference but as always be careful.

5'8 or 5'9 here and in all actuality the 1000's are much shorter than the 600's. IMO anyhow. at least like the R6's and crap, i'm on my tiptoes on those

5'8 here, and i touch better on my 06 1krr then on the 600's i sat on at the bike show. it has a narrow tank which helps. take some time getting use to the power band difference. 1krr makes power faster then a 600 will. and has less room for error when in the power band. you'll be ok!

1000rr is deffinatly shorter than most new 600's. Friend of mine has the 07 ZX6R (Awesome Bike) and Im on tippy toes on his and almost flat footed on my 06 1krr.

I also use to be 5'7", then I wrecked my 1krr and now Im 5'6 3/4". Stupid Crushed Vertibrae.

5' 4 here and I'm an asian. I ride 06 1krr

I'M 5'5" AND HAVE NO PROBLEM'S FOR THE MOST PART BUT MY WIFE THINK'S THAT IT IS TO BIG FOR ME. RESPECT THE BIKE AND IT WILL RESPECT YOU.

5"9 here don't have any problem on my 07 CBR 1K you should be okay.
