Quality, quality, quality! I own an Akro for my bike and it installs like a peice of art! I garantee any other $1500+ system will give you instant buyers remorse, buy an Akro and you will lose sleep thinking about how sexy it is!!!!

Akros are number one for race R&D. The free floating headers alow for easy fitment and a cleaner connection at the flanges. I am an expert on Akros, any questions please feel free to ask, I have access to the Akro tech files.

 

I stuck the jardines on my cbr1k. It was a little too loud, especially when the revs go up. But it was a nice deep sounding pipe. Switched to the yoshimuras. Not as loud but it still had a deep rumble just not as deep pitched as the jardines. I think the akropovics would be somewhere in between. The carbon fiber yoshi RS-5s look pretty sweet.

 

Akrapovic is good but for quality and superbike cred Arrow is the only way to go. These pipes are top quality, If they are not on sale in the US get on the web site and check them out.I have got one on my 06 blade

Thanks to everyone for all your input. You helped me in my decision to get a Two bros carbon fiber slip-on, which I should be recieving sometime tuesday. I'll let you all know if I'm satisfied with it or not. Now i'm trying to decide if I should install it myself or take it somewhere. I've never messed with motorcycles in that way. I'm a decent rider but I've never done any kind of work on them; and it looks like you need to take apart a few things because it's an undertail.
