A buddy of mine has a 09 1000rr. I want to see if I can fit on it comfortably. He is looking to sell. I am 6ft 4 225 pounds. I dunno if it is going to fit right like my f4i

It will be a bit more cramped and racier than an F4i, but you should still fit OK. You could always put bar risers and/or lowered rear-sets on it too.

There are times I wish I had a goldwing. Then I just hit the throttle and I forget all about my aching butt

The 09 1000rr looks so much better in the flesh than in pics IMO. Having ridden one I can honestly say it is the mutts nutts of a bike and will be my next bike when I upgrade from a 600rr in the future.

To each their own, but hopefully they change the '10 cosmetics significantly.

prolly true. Everything is going more rounded, slimmer, lighter. Wouldnt be surprised if they cover the engine back up with the next change either like the did with the 09 600RR.
