Been to dealer, they made me not to bad an offer but I've got a few extras on my bike and still finding it hard to part with.Talked about r&g tail tidy,if I buy new bike + tail tidy they'll fit for free.It does seem a pretty major job to fit.Still other extras I would want(seat cowl, screen, gear indicator),bit of haggling to do yet.Booked in for test ride next week, salesman says after ride I will buy,we'll see.

What is the exchange rate now with Sterling and \dollar. Thats really cheap at $10000 its £9000 over in the Uk plus a few extras if you really argue the toss. The trouble is the dealers cant get them quick enough here so they have no incentive to cut their margins yet as everyone just joining the queue for a new one. I think I might become a Honda dealer...........seems like easy work to me.

i got my Limited Edition at a great price. worked 3 dealers against each other and made out like a bandit. 4.9% financing from AHFC for 60mos.

i have 800mi on it now and HOLY SHI*....i love this thing more every time i ride it.

it just pulls and pulls and pulls. it never wants to stop. i can throw it around like a rag doll.

THANK YOU HONDA.

man im with ya, i just 804 this last weekend.every time i ride this bike i feal so solid and comtable.saturday was the first time i had her in the twisties, and i was so confident on it.i was keeping up with guys i couldent even stay with on my 929.i just never felt i could push my 929 like this 1000.she handled some good sharp twisties and just begged for me to drop my knee more and more to the ground.dam this is a bad bike, forget the looks if you ride a 08 rr you will forget the other bikes you have ridden.it is a class of its own thats for sure..another note once all the sick aftermarket parts are available and you see more tricked out 08 the looks will grow on you so much..look at one with just a tail kit....sweeeett!

I agree-I was contemplating getting an 05-07 but then I drove the 08 and let me tell you there was not a question in my mind after that! It probably could have been another grand and I still would have bought it after riding it-it is that impressive. Ended up driving to Oregon and getting a smoking deal on it-it has been raining or snowing pretty much every day since I bought it...

What dealers actually let you test drive a new bike? I'm sketchy whether I should get a 600rr when I owned a 900rr. I rode my cousins 05 600rr and it was so weak compared to the 900 but I haven't had my 900 in a year and a half so I figure maybe I won't notice? I want to ride the 600 just to see if I'd be happy since they've changed that bike quite a bit, I want something with the power my old one had and don't want it to be anything like my cousins. The 1krr would be nice but insurance holds me back but I need to check since it's been a while and I'm older, perhaps the prices have come down? The 08 imo looks awesome from head on it's the front corner I don't like when looking at the bike but overall it's awesome. Look of a ducati with price and quality of a honda. Novel over...

Want a bike that looks great? Keep yours. Want one that rides amzing, get the 08. It is a completely different bike, clutch, engine, frame etc..Handles like a 600 on steroids! awesome bike. Go for the black or red they look the best ( I have red )
