I have a 2008 1000rr, yellow/black. I need to order a middle and upper fairing but the dealer can't without the correct paint code. He needs the one that's underneath the back seat, but i eliminated the rear part completly so the little sticker is gone..Apperantly there are 3 different codes for black, even though there is one model of yellow. its bizzare to me.

Can anyone tell me from their bike? My cbr is exactly the same as the one on banner up top.

um, this dealer sucks if they cant order you a fairing without you providing a code. call a different dealer.

 

I can't believe no one else has a yellow bike.lol

They don't want to order cause if i get it and its wrong, there is no return. I guess they want to be 100% sure.

It starts with NE then some numbers...I think this dealer sucks possibly..

I have the same setup. My code sticker is safely tucked away on the stock tail in the garage. I'll look tonight.
